Grab Bar Give Away

The Association of Black Social Workers (ABSW) and Injury Free Nova Scotia are proud to announce our Grab Bar Give Away partnership.

Falls are the leading cause of injury in Nova Scotia. Many falls are predictable, which also means there is an opportunity to prevent them. One way falls can be prevented is by installing a Grab Bar in the bathroom for individuals to hold onto while getting in and out of the bath tub or shower.
